TENDER NOTICE                                                                                                           

                  Sealed  tenders  are  invited from the Contractors registered in PMD of FCX in Category CVL-001 and Class –“C” (above Rs. 10.00 lakhs & upto Rs. 25.00 lakhs) and above and experienced & working contractor in BHEL Bhopal..

1.1 Date of Selling by post             :   20.01.10

1.2 Last Date of Selling of Tender :   27.01.10  Upto 3.0 PM  

1.3 Date of submission of tender  :   29.01.10  Upto 1.30 PM

1.4 Date of  Opening  of tender     :   29.01.10  2.00 PM

2.0    The following documents are essential to be submitted, otherwise tender will not be considered.

2. 1   PF Number, ESI Number and PAN No.  are essential.

2.2         The tender cost is to be deposited through Demand Draft favouring BHEL, Bhopal or cash. An amount of Rs.50/- will be charged extra if the tender document is required by post. However, if tender is down loaded through our web site. Then, the same may be submitted directly with Draft as tender Fees.

2.3         All corrections/corrigendum will be given in our website www.bhelbhopal.com ONLY. Therefore all the tenderers/ bidders are requested to be in touch with our website www.bhelbhopal.com , till the tender is opened

2.4         All the envelopes should be dropped in the tender box (green box) available in tender room at Ground floor, Administration building before 1.30 PM repeat before 1.30 PM of opening date of tender. All the envelopes will be removed from the tender box at 1.30 PM for numbering and entering in the register.( Divisions authorized representative should be present at 1.30 PM along with necessary files and register) Tender received after 1.30 PM will be treated as LATE TENDER.

2.5   Contractors have to bring their authority letter from their company for witnessing the tender opening. 

2.6      Contractor will be permitted in tender room to witness the tender opening from 2.00 PM onwards only.

Note :-        

1.0         The Earnest Money by Demand Draft in favour of BHEL-Bhopal or cash is to be deposited in BHEL. EMD is to be submitted along with bid. 

2.0    The party must have phone & mobile facility for effective communication during the entire period of contract. The numbers are to be submitted along with bid.

3.0     Technical/Work Experience: To assess the technical capability of the tenderers/contractors, documents showing civil works successfully executed by the tenderers/contractors during last seven years ending as on 31.03.2009 should be submitted by them along with the technical bid.

4.0     Financial Capability: To assess the financial capability and eligibility of the tenderers/contractors, documents showing similar/civil works successfully executed by them during last seven years ending as on 31.03.2009, either one work of 80%    value of schedule cost or two works of 50% value of schedule cost or three works of 40% value of schedule cost must be submitted by the tenderers/contractors along with technical bid.

             5.0    BHEL reserves all right to cancel any or all the tenders without showing any prior notice or cause.

6.0    Delay in execution of work may cause penalty as per existing rules.

7.0    In case the past performance of the tenderer is found unsatisfactory the BHEL has the right to reject the tender.

8.0    The Contractor has to obtain & submit the labour licence as per prevailing rules after award of work / LOI.

9.0   Quoted rates must be inclusive of all taxes, duties, incidentals etc except service tax , which is to be specified with service tax registration number & proof thereof.

10.0      The rate should be exclusive of service tax and the same is payable extra against showing the same in invoice and indicating service tax registration no. Total tax payments receipts must be submitted to FCX before finalization of bill of the work for reimbursement otherwise BHEL will not be responsible for payment of service tax. The contractor will be held fully responsible to pay the service tax after finalization of the bill for the work and no reimbursement will be entertained after completion of work. The service tax registration no. & invoice bill have to be submitted for the payment.
