BHARAT HEAVY ELECTRICALS LTD. BHOPAL Invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from experienced and financially sound  civil engineering consultants fulfilling Qualifying Criteria mentioned below for the work of Structural design & drawing including intermittent (on demand site) supervision for the civil construction work pertaining to manufacturing block & machine foundations.

In the above context BHEL Bhopal intend to empanel civil engineering consultant for a period of 3 years who could provide technical support associated with design, drawing and intermittent supervision (as and when asked for) of civil construction works.

The consultants fulfilling all the following criteria’s are eligible to apply-

(i)  Experience of structural design & drawing of large size industrial building/Power Plant Building in the last seven years having more than 20 m span & 20m height with a provision of crane capacity 100 T & above. The agency is required to submit the detail of their experience in the form of work order & completion certificate. The document submitted should clearly specify the size of building with crane capacity & period of work.

(ii) Average Annual Financial Turnover of last three years ending 31^st march 2010 should be atleast Rs 50 lacs. For this audited balance sheet & Profit & Loss Account for the last three years ending 31^st march 2010 shall be submitted. If audited Balance sheet for year 2009-2010 is not available then provisional balance sheet should be furnished.

(iii) The consultant should have full fledged design office with necessary design & drawing software with experience designer(s). Consultants are required to submit details of office equipments & licensed software owned along with office staff with their resume.

(iv)  The consultant must possess PAN Card & Service Tax registration No (as applicable).

 Note: - 1) The above criteria should be met only by the bidder himself or his principal or wholly owned subsidiary and not by any associate bidder.

               2) The bidder is required to submit documentary evidence in support of each of the above qualifying criteria.

Ø       The tender cost of Rs 1000/- is to be remitted through Demand Draft drawn in favour of BHEL, Bhopal or to be deposited in Cash in BHEL Cash section. An amount of Rs. 250/- will be charged extra if the tender documents are required by post. BHEL shall not be responsible for any Postal delay. If tender documents are downloaded from BHEL web-site, cost of documents of Rs 1000/- have to be remitted by DD along with Techno-commercial Bid.

Ø       Tender Document can be collected from the office of DGM Modernization Division (Civil), located at: Block-II, Western Annexe, Ground floor, Opposite Fire Station, BHEL, Bhopal.

Ø       Tender documents can also be downloaded from our BHEL, Bhopal web-site  www.bhelbhopal.com & www.bhel.com. If the documents are downloaded from our website, the offer must contain the DD, failing which, the offer shall stand rejected.

Ø       All subsequent corrigendum/amendment shall be published only on website and not in press. Hence, bidders are advised to always be in touch with our said website until the tender is finally opened.

Ø       Late Tenders are liable for rejection.

Ø       BHEL reserves the right to accept or reject any of the bid / all the bids or cancel or withdraw the invitation of tender without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action by BHEL.

Ø       The complete offer shall be submitted on or before the time & date mentioned above ,if tender is delivered in person should be dropped into tender box for works contract kept in the Tender Room, Ground Floor, Administrative Building BHEL, Piplani, Bhopal-462022 and if it is sent through post/courier it should be addressed to
