NOTICE INVITING TENDER
NIT: - FPM/324/Mob. Crane/M-01/2011-12
1.0 Fabrication Preparation Division, BHEL, Bhopal invites tender on two part bid basis (Part I- Techno-Commercial Bid & Part II- Price Bid) from experienced and financial sound contractors for the following work:-
Scope of work:-
To hire the services of:
A. One number Tyre mounted Mobile Crane (Truck Crane) of 20 ton capacity with swiveling boom (360 degree), jacking pad, and boom length 30feet.
B. One number Tyre mounted revolving Mobile Crane (Truck Crane) of 40 ton capacity.
For material handling, loading, unloading inside/outside BHEL, Bhopal factory premises, as per directives of BHEL. During peak production period or otherwise additional cranes are required to complete the work. In such cases BHEL may ask contractor to supply second/third crane on short notice for which contractor should be capable to do so.
(The above specification is indicative, equivalent/ better size and capacity shall be considered. Post Card size, color photographs from side view shall be furnished for each vehicle)
2.0 These vehicles shall be required to operate on all working days in the Ist shift (8.00AM to 05.00PM). However, the vehicles may be required to operate in IInd/IIIrd shifts and even on Sundays/holidays depending upon the requirement. The offered vehicles should have all relevant safety features.
3.0 The bidder should have min 2 years experience in Material Handling work by crane of equivalent capacity or higher capacity (loading, unloading, shifting & transport of material).
4.0 The bidder should meet all the following statutory requirements:
(a) PF & ESI registration* (If not available an undertaking for submission of same on a non-judicial stamp paper)
(b) Latest I/Tax return copy with copy of PAN no.
(c) Labour License* (after award of Work Order),
(d) All RTO compliances of offered vehicles
(e) Please refer Annexure- ‘E’ for further details.
*Submission of PF & ESI registration is exempted for the technical evaluation but an undertaking is required. However, the L-1 bidder shall furnish the PF & ESI application copy duly acknowledged by concerned department, before placement of Work order/LOI. The L-1 firm shall have full responsibility to submit PF & ESI registration and Labor license at the earliest to BHEL.
5.0 Date of commencement of work:
Within 15 days from the date of issue of LOI.
Contract period: - Full 2 year from the date of commencement. Requirement duration of each type is mentioned in special conditions.

7.0 Tender Cost: - Rs.500/-.The tender cost is to be deposited through D.D. favoring “B.H.E.L Bhopal” or cash in BHEL cash office. The tender fee should be deposited along with technical bid.
8.0 Earnest Money Deposit
Earnest money deposit of Rs 60,000/- (Rupee Sixty Thousand only) in form of Demand Draft/ Pay order in a favour of “BHEL, Bhopal” should accompany the techno-commercial offer. One time EMD of Rs.2.00 Lakhs deposited in BHEL Bhopal unit is also acceptable. Offer without EMD will be rejected.
(4) Last Date Bid submission : 26 Sep.2011 11.00 a.m
Date of Techno-commercial bid opening : After 02:00 pm on the same day
