NOTICE INVITING TENDER
NIT: - FMS/WC/WI/2011-12/W-4
(1) Factory Main Stores division, BHEL, Bhopal invites tender in single bid system from experienced and reputed contractors for the following work :-
Scope of Work :-
1. Segregation, shifting and staking of welding electrodes MS,GI,CI items, Hardware & wooden plies etc.
-900 MT
2. Bid in a sealed envelope to contain the followings:-
1. DD or MR of Rs.500/- towards Tender cost.
2. PAN no.
3. Declaration sheet as per proforma at Annexure – ‘A’.
4. Bank Account particulars with MICR no. For Electronic Fund Transfer as per Annexure ‘B’.
5. DD or MR towards EMD of Rs.10,000/-
6. Check list and schedule of general particulars as per Annexure-‘C’.
7. Price bid (Quoted price to be written both in figures and words. In case of any ambiguity the price given in words shall be considered as the quoted price).
NOTE:-Contractor may note that they have to get PF, ESI and Labour Licence for their employees before commencing the work in BHEL. However contractor who have PF, ESI and Labour Licence may enclose photocopy with tender documents. Above mentioned criteria should be met by the bidder himself and not by any associate firm.
Interested contractor may obtain/download tender @ of Rs 500 by paying tender cost through cash at BHEL cash counter or by enclosing DD of Rs 500/- along with tender documents.
(2) Date of commencement of work: Within 7 days from the date of issue of LOI.
Contract Period:- 12 months from the date of commencement.
(3) Earnest Money Deposit
As per works policy 2008 (clause 8.1.1) of BHEL, contractor has to deposit Earnest Money as per below mentioned particulars.
Works costing up to Rs. 2 lakhs : Nil
- Works costing more than Rs. 2 lakhs and up to Rs. 5 lakhs : Rs. 10,000/-
- Works costing more than Rs. 5 lakhs and up to Rs. 10 lakhs : Rs. 20,000/-
- Works costing more than Rs.10 lakhs and up to Rs. 20 lakhs : Rs. 40,000/-
- Works costing more than Rs.20 lakhs and up to Rs. 30 lakhs : Rs. 60,000/-
- Works costing more than Rs.30 lakhs and up to Rs. 50 lakhs : Rs.1,00,000/-
- Works costing more than Rs.50 lakhs and up to Rs.100 lakhs : Rs.1,50,000/-
- Works costing more than Rs.100 lakhs : Rs. 2,00,000/-
Note:-contractors who have deposited one time EMD of Rs.2,00,000/-need not to deposit EMD along with tender documents.
3.(a) Documentary evidence (M.R/DD) for the payment of tender cost and EMD is necessary to enclose with tender otherwise tender may be rejected.
(4) Last Date of Bid submission : 29.07.2011 (Friday) upto 11hrs.
Date of Techno-commercial bid opening : After 02:00PM on the same day

Sealed envelop of bid must be dropped in the green colour tender box exclusively provided in tender room for works contract.

The bid, should be enclosed in a sealed envelop & it should have the following details

(b) Enquiry reference- FMS/WC/WI/2011-12/W-4 date:………………
(c) Tender/bid for the works contract for Segregation, Shifting and Stacking of Steel & wooden items in FMS.
