Hydro Test Laboratory
Hydro model test
laboratory is equipped with sophisticated
universal test rigs, thyristor drive and
control, automatic data acquisition and analysis
system.
This testing laboratory has in situ calibration
set up for all measuring equipments, ensuring
high accuracy of measurement as per
international standards. The laboratory has
modern facilities as soft
wares for computerized analysis of fluid
dynamics, CNC machines for manufacture of hydro
turbine scale models.
The laboratory also conducts field efficiency
tests at hydro power houses to confirm
efficiency guarantees of hydro turbines.
